Welcome to Part 1 of WatchMePlay Zelda: Majora’s Mask, just in time for the Mayan Apocalypse of 12-21-12. I thought there would be no better time to play this gem of an N64 adventure than during Doomsday, so I thought I’d start a new Let’s Play series.

In this initial installment, we watch the Opening and Introduction for Majora’s Mask. We witness Link as he wanders a mysterious forest where he runs into the devious Skull Kid, who steals our horse and turns Link into a plant creature! We also meet the eccentric Happy Mask Salesman, who tells us to bring back to him that which was stolen from him by “the imp”, who stole something precious from us as well. In return he promises that he can turn us back into our normal shape.

And thus our adventure begins. We wander the halls of this new dimension, known as Clock Town, where we are to seek out the Great Fairy, who our new friendly fairy Tatl (who was separated from her brother Tael when we encountered Skull Kid, and stuck helping us) says can help. But before we can do that, we need to find a lost stray fairy, and enter the observatory by playing Hide and Go Seek with some brat kids….
